More Dog Sweaters

By increasing the neck band you can create turtleneck sweaters. I really love this pattern.

New Doggie Sweaters

I've been knitting dog sweaters for our little Chihuahua mix for several years. The pattern I use has a problem with stretching and it comes off too easily for an active dog. It usually ends up on the floor after a few hours. Our little guy needs to wear his sweaters in the house every day in the winter. (He really HATES the cold.) I came across this pattern for a crocheted sweater that really stays on! It's super easy and fast to make and I think he looks quite handsome in it. I love that it has such a snug fit and he can keep it on all day. I make the neckband wider than the pattern calls for and like it much better that way. I've made him four so far and plan to make some for our little "grandpuppy", Ivy.
